Glynneath Astronomical Society

A new society has been launched in Glynneath. . The Glynneath Astronomical Society has been formed under the leadership of Ian Glendening, and will offer local people the chance to study this fascinating topic under his guidance. The Glynneath Training Centre is supporting the Society and funds have been raised, with a large grant from the Selar Opencast fund, in order that a new telescope can be retained for use by the members .
